In August of 2006 the Native American Horse Education Foundation was established to help further the dignity and self-sustaining nature of Native Americans through farriery. NAHEF is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization.
The Tucson School of Horseshoeing donated a $ 150,000 portable classroom/forge trailer to the Native American Horse Education Foundation.
It’s well known based on several statistical resources that average household income of Native Americans is well below national average and unemployment reaches in certain areas as hight as 75%.
